MY LAND: CORMONS
Cormòns, "City of Wine", is placed at the heart of an area where historical vicissitudes, riconfinamenti and ferments socioeconomic confirm a charm "frontier" unique. The "Vineyard Manzocco" down from "Collio" and, with a gentle slope, captures the potential - aromas and flavors - of gravel mixed '"Soca". Undoubtedly the marl and sandstone hills give particular structure and personality to the wines; especially the white ones will derive great benefit.
Collio, Isonzo, Judrio and the Adriatic Sea are the setting for happy area where the vineyard is affected by the nature of the soil, the microclimate (bora, sea air etc.) And, above all, the professional man.
MANZOCCO, THE CELLAR
After the resignation, in the 60s, to the oak casks, for the gradual conversion of vineyards with white grapes, it chooses those vitrified cement vats; to this were joined, subsequently, several vats in stainless steel for the proper management of the phase of vinification - fermentation at controlled temperature - and conservation.
Given the good results obtained - in particular with the Verduzzo and Merlot - with the aging in French oak barrels, is deepening this experience also against various varieties or grapes, both white and red grapes.

OUR WHITE WINES
MANZOCCO FRIULANO:
Or light golden straw color, tending to citrine. Delicate and pleasant, characteristic. Dry, warm, full, slightly spicy background. Excellent with light aperitifs made with fresh cheese and ham, soups, fish and white meats.
MANZOCCO PINOT BIANCO:
Light straw-colored or slightly golden. Delicate, distinctive, pleasant. Dry, velvety, soft, harmonious, pleasant. Excellent aperitif, it is perfect with appetizers, dishes based on fish or eggs.
MANZOCCO PINOT GRIGIO:
Yellow color with pink highlights. Special scent, distinctive, pleasant. Dry, harmonious, pleasant, characteristic. Ideal wine for aperitifs, goes particularly well cured ham; Excellent with light soups, fish and white meats.
MANZOCCO SAUVIGNON:
Light golden color. Distinctive aroma. Dry, full-bodied, velvety, pleasant. Aperitif wine, particularly suitable to accompany ham, salmon, shrimp, fish sauce; also great with cream and delicate soups or medium-aged cheeses.
MANZOCCO TRAMINER AROMATICO:
Straw color. Pleasant aroma with a strong aroma and distinctive. Dry, slightly aromatic, intense, distinctive, full-bodied, pleasant. Ideal with hot and cold appetizers, fish and cheeses.
MANZOCCO VERDUZZO FRIULANO:
Golden color, more or less. Distinctive aroma, fruity. Sweet, fruity body, slightly tannic, still. It goes well with sweets and pastries as well as Friuli diformaggi pâté or foie gras or duck. More generally, it is a great meditation wine, especially if aged in oak barrels.
OUR RED WINES
MANZOCCO MERLOT:
Ruby color. Fragrance is pleasant. Dry, full-bodied, slightly herbaceous. Ideal wine for red meats, roasts, poultry, rabbit or medium-aged cheese.
MANZOCCO REFOSCO DAL PEDUNCOLO ROSSO:
Red tending to purple. Vinous characteristic. Dry, full, slightly bitter. A perfect wine to accompany fatty meats, poultry, stews, game.
MANZOCCO CABERNET FRANC:
Deep ruby color. Vinous, characteristic herbaceous, dry taste, full-bodied, slightly herbaceous, pleasant velvety. If young, it is ideal with red meats and roasts; with the aging become one of the best wine also goes well with game and mature cheeses.
